Hi and welcome to Yellow Hawk Creek Gardens.  I’m Cindi and I’m so glad you’re here!

My husband, Tony and I have been married for 30 years and we have 3 great adult children. Recent empty nesters, we’re having fun traveling, gardening and taking on projects around the house.

I am a lifelong gardener and native to the Pacific Northwest.  We’ve lived in our home for 25 years and love our zone 7 – one acre garden – to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  We recently added a chicken coop and get a kick out of watching the girls.

We’ve called Walla Walla, WA home all of our lives.  Walla Walla means ‘many waters’ and we’re fortunate to have Yellow Hawk Creek  run through our property.  It’s a beautiful year-round tributary and we’re often host to water fowl, ducks, and the occasional blue heron.

This is my journal to life in and around our garden, DIY projects that we’re taking on, and our adventures in travel.  I’m glad you stopped by!
